OJust because the players get older, it doesn't mean the fun has to stop. We continue our sessions with primary attention on individual skills, yet slowly begin to introduce the player to a team format. This is the age where players start to have a sense of "me" and "team". Their confidence and creativity help them evolve from being comfortable with the ball, to mastering the ball, eventually making the ball do what they want it to do.
Technique: Experiment with rolling balls (away from the body, towards the body, across the body), receiving ground balls with the inside and sole of the foot, shooting with the inside of the foot, dribbling while changing direction.
Fitness: Agility, eye-foot coordination, balance, leaping, catching and throwing.
Psychology: Encourage creativity and trying new things. Working in pairs, sportsmanship, dynamic activities. Developing self-esteem.
Tactics: 1 v 1 attacking. Choose to dribble or pass.
